YTsaurus Server 24.1.0 released

And several other important updates

We are pleased to present you the new YTsaurus Server version 24.1.0, which includes many improvements, optimizations, and fixes. Now it is possible to read data from another cluster in operations and use precisely-once-write to a queue. The first version of secondary indexes and shared write lock is now available in dynamic tables, as well as several other important updates. You can find out about all the changes in version 24.1.0 in the release notes.

To install YTsaurus Server 24.1.0 update the k8s-operator to version 0.17.0.

In addition, we have also updated other key parts of the platform:

  • In QueryTracker 0.0.8 we made it possible to use system Python to run UDF, and also accelerated the AP.

  • CHYT 2.16.0 now supports Query Cache, and it is now possible to configure the unloading of system tables in Cypress. In addition, CHYT now works with broad date types like date32, datetime64, timestamp64, interval64.

  • SPYT 2.4.1 now allows you to run local files and use local dependencies in direct startup mode by uploading data to the cache. There are also scheme hints for recording dataframes.

  • In UI 1.65.0, we have improved the Queries page: added Validate and Explain buttons, Navigation and VCS tabs, and flexible access management to queries. Additionally, the UI now allows issuing tokens and managing users.

We recommend installing the UI via Helm Chart.
